The Delta 31-250 Wide Drum Sander was the company’s first 18" model, then with more innovation in the same model an extra long extension shaft was added, along with a 4" pneumatic drum to make the sander much more multipurpose This was the Delta 31-252 Limited Edition 18" Drum Sander, which became quite popular in short time.

He drum sanders manufactured by Delta are considered as the best drum sanders on the market. They are added with some great features, for instance, the 31-252 Drum Sander features a sturdy welded stand and cast-iron table. Quality, safety and convenience are built-in with features such as a new redesigned table height adjustment, a 4" dust gathering port to handle the fine dust formed during sanding operations, two speeds for the sanding drum to choose from; 2,210 or 3,300 and infinitely variable conveyor speed from 1 to 12 feet per minute. These features allow you to precisely adjust and control all facades of the machine for the best in finished results.
