A milter saw is used to crosscut long stock. They are of two types. First is manual milter saw and other is motorized milter saw. Chop saw or motorized saw are used to make quick and accurate crosscut in work piece. One of the main features of milter saw is milter index, which allows cutting work piece at some angles like 15°, 30° or 45° degree. Also other features are slide feature, laser guide, blade guard, safety clamps, etc.
