Performax 638003DXK 22-44 Pro Deluxe Drum Sander is powered by a 1-3/4-horsepower motor and capable of sanding a 22-inch wide swath in a single pass, the Performax Pro Deluxe Drum Sander removes stock faster than any sander in its class. A suspended drum supported on both ends with a truss-like carriage sands a 22-inch wide swath in a single pass or 44 inches in two passes. The precision-machined, aluminum drum operates at 1,600 rpm for super fast stock removal. A variable-speed feed rate of 1- to 10-feet-per-minute makes it easy to adjust tool speed to a wide variety of sanding tasks. And, the conveyor motor provides 43-inch pounds of torque when it’s time to really bear down. The drum is easily aligned to the table surface for smooth sanding and less operator fatigue. A precision flattened, reinforced steel conveyor bed offers exact stock removal, every time.
