Sanding Sleeves set

When you consider sanding the hardwood floor, there are typically two types of sanders which you can employ for the task. These are the oscillating and the drum sanders. An oscillating sander is perfect if you only need to get rid of the surface layer of finish. This type of sander is useless if you have deep scratches that go well below the surface that needs to be removed. A drum sander reaches below the surface finish in order to remove more serious issues that may be present with your hardwood floors. With the drum sander you should shun staying in one position too long as this can create a pattern, swirl, or groove in your flooring that you may detest. And when such thing happens, what you need is sanding sleeves.

Sanding sleeves are widely used with sanders for the removal of saw marks on flat and contoured edges. You can count on the sanding sleeves to easily remove such marks. Most of the sanding sleeves are very much effective for sanding and finishing of curved flat surfaces, band sawn or jigsaw cut parts. But before you choose a sanding sleeve, make sure the model of sander it is meant for.

There is a large assortment of sanding sleeves available in the market. You can choose according to your requirements. Some of the leading manufacturers of sanding sleeve sets are NorZon, Delta, WoodStock, Enkay and many more.
